Efektivitas Media Audio Visual (Video) terhadap Tingkat Pengetahuan Petani Ternak Sapi Perah Tentang Kualitas Susu di Desa Indrokilo Kecamatan Ungaran Barat Kabupaten Semarang

The purpose of this study is to know the difference and determine changes in the level of knowledge about the quality of milk before and after the playback of audio-visual media, in the village of Indrokilo district. Ungaran Kab. Semarang. This research benefits farmers dairy cows are able to understand the type of good quality milk and to know some of the factors that affect the quality of milk. The method used in this study is experimental pre-test and post-test using a questionnaire with 20 questions. Determination of respondent conducted the census. Respondents were drawn as many as 40 people. The method of data collection the method of observation. data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data in the form of the value of the pre-test and post-test. Secondary data were obtained from the relevant government offices and the Central Bureau of Statistics. The results showed that 1) the average value of pre-test and post-test respectively 71 and 81.875 10.875 Increased knowledge of and percentage change of 15.3% increase in knowledge. 2) The value t count -8.600, smaller than t table value (2.064). The conclusion of this study is 1). Village West Ungaran Indrokilo District is an area suitable for the development of the dairy farm. 2). Media outreach Media audio visual (video) has a role and is effective in improving the knowledge of respondents; shown an increase and a change in the level of knowledge.
